Radius Group has received their regular golden brick
Moscow, 22nd April 2019 – Auchan Specialized NCL delivered by Radius Group, the leading warehouse and real estate developer, was recognized to be the best in the category “Industrial Real Estate–Warehouse Complex” of CRE Awards 2019. Radius Group got the traditional prize – “golden brick” for the victory. It became the eighth for the developer during their 6 years of participation in CRE awards.
The winners of one of the most distinguished awards in commercial real estate were announced at the CRE Awards 2019 on 18th April 2019. Auchan National Logistics Center developed and constructed by Radius Group on a Build-to-Suit basis in Domodedovo was recognized by the judging panel as the best facility in the category “Industrial Real Estate – Warehouse Complex”. Auchan National Logistics Center is the Europe’s largest single-space warehouse. The total area of the first phase of the facility was 109, 000 sq.m. The warehouse complex has been built using Radius InSite innovative platform based on 5D BIM. New facility meets BREEAM energy efficiency international standard requirements (Good rating), and it meets requirements with regard to the compliance with the Western Fire Codes – AXA, NFPA.

The Specialized NCL is designed for the storage and distribution of food and non-food products. The building consists of seven high-bay blocks, including the cross-docking area for high-demand goods and considerable amount of transportation.
It is noteworthy that the facility was delivered as turnkey and handed over to the client with functioning IT & SS and installed racking equipment. It allowed for warehouse operations to start immediately. The Commercial Real Estate Moscow Awards were established 16 years ago, and today it is one of the most prestigious awards in the commercial real estate market. Every year industry leaders; developers, consultants and management companies, who have passed the careful competitive selection of the judging panel, become the award finalists. It is the fourth time Radius Group has been the winner in the category “Industrial Real Estate – Warehouse Complex”. The developer received a golden brick for the implemented Leroy Merlin Distribution Center with a total area of 100.000 sq.m. in South Gate Industrial Park in 2017.
