Radius Group Invests 8.4 Billion Rubles ($248 Million) In The Expansion Of South Gate Industrial Park With Loan From Sberbank.
Moscow, Russia – 7 February 2014 – Radius Group, Russia’s most responsible, best in class provider of warehouse and manufacturing real estate solutions, received an 8.4 billion ruble ($248 million) loan from Sberbank for the expansion of it’s South Gate Industrial Park.
To continue its market growth and development, Radius Group has received a loan from Sberbank, the largest bank in Russia and Eastern Europe, and the third largest in Europe. The 8.4 billion ruble loan has been provided with a 10 year maturity rate. Radius Group plans to use the loan to build an additional 220,000 m2 of warehouse and light manufacturing space at the South Gate Industrial Park.
Currently, Radius Group has signed 4 build-to-suit contracts with tenants at South Gate accounting for 120,000m2 or over 50% of the 220,000;m2 to be constructed. The total warehouse capacity of the industrial park is 650,000 m2, of which 187,000 m2 have already been commissioned and put into operation.

At the same time, the deputy chairman of the Moscow Bank of Sberbank of Russia, Denis Konstantinov thanked the Radius Group team for their cooperation. He noted the difficult structure of the transaction and expressed confidence in the implementation of new large-scale projects with the participation of Sberbank and Radius Group.
